BEDFORD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Online Resources

As we are utilizing more resources online during the closure of schools currently, we wanted to take a moment and encourage all students, staff, and families to continue to be good digital citizens. Please refer to Bedford County Public Schools’ Acceptable Use Policy below.

Digital Citizenship is a choice we should all continue to make.

Families and Students: Bedford County Public Schools encourages families to support student learning during the school closing. This website contains information about our use of Clever for the district. We have opened and shared resources there that staff and students may wish to use for remedial and exploration purposes. Our hope is that students pursue the opportunities to read and write about topics that are of interest to them through our provided resources.

Staff at each school have also worked to provide resources specifically. Please check your school's website for more information on specific staff information and email contacts. School Website List: All School Websites List CLICK HERE. We are all here to help support student learning.

Clever is a program that allows staff and students to login and gain access through their BCPS Google usernames and passwords allowing easier access without multiple usernames and passwords. While most of the links on our Clever page are to district-wide resources, there are a few identified as school specific. We will be adjusting this portal as more resources become available through Clever integration.

  • Families have the opportunity to access Clever via their student’s account.

  • Clever uses a student’s Google username and password to authenticate the user and create the custom menu of applications to support learning “Anytime, Anywhere.”

  • Try to involve your student in assisting with logging into Clever.

  • It is recommended that you bookmark Clever to make it easier to access.
