Sexual Misconduct and Abuse Prevention Training
The responsibility for protecting students from sexual misconduct and abuse is shared by the school board, school board employees, school volunteers, parents, state agencies, and law enforcement. The following two organizations are dedicated solely for the prevention of child sexual abuse. Wearing seat belts is not only the law, but it saves lives! Did you know that the National Safety Council reports that more than 75,000 lives were saved over four years by simply clicking a seat belt? For the remainder of the year, seat belt checks will be conducted by state and local police officers near our high schools. Take a moment to “Click it!” It may save you a ticket, and, more importantly, it may save your life!
